Abstract

|
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of self-management with visual support on working independence and accuracy of two adults with autism spectrum disorders(ASD) in their workplace. Three selected target behaviors were packing, drawing up a document, and taking the call. and self-monitoring and self-evaluation were used. This study used multiple baseline design across behaviors with two participants. Through the findings of this study, self-management with visual support can improve the independence and accuracy of working for people with ASD at their workplace, and improved independence and accuracy of working can be maintained. The result of study emphasized the necessity of job coaching for adults with ASD, and the importance of transition and vocational education in school.
